EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING
Do you need a boat licence? No — none of the H2ON boats require a licence. Before you set off, our staff will give you a full briefing.
Minimum age: 18 years old with valid ID.
Deposit: Not required. Instead, you’ll find a transparent price list online for any damage — no surprises when you return.
Contract: Digital and auto-generated via a multilingual form. Quick and hassle-free.
Fuel included? Yes, always. Petrol stations are very rare on Lake Orta — we’ll take care of that for you.
Deposit? No. You pay everything on boarding, in cash or by card.
Bad weather? We’ll cancel without penalty. You can book with complete peace of mind.
Late arrival penalty: €50 after the first 15 minutes, €30 every 30 minutes — out of respect for the next bookings.
Never sailed a boat before? No problem — 80% of our guests are first-timers. Our boats are stable and easy to handle.
Briefing available in 5 languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish.
Children: life jackets are compulsory for under-6s and are provided by us. Lightweight swim vests and sports vests are also available.
Emergencies: a direct WhatsApp contact is available at all times during your hire.
Food and drink: yes, bring whatever you like. No glass on board. Recycling: you are responsible for sorting your own waste.
Pets: allowed for an additional €20 sanitation fee. We advise you to think carefully — the lake can be disorienting for dogs that aren’t used to it.
Parking: 10 metres away (payment in the morning only), free adjacent parking, free station car park 100 metres away.
Transfer: available for a small additional charge depending on the distance from your accommodation.

Yes — Lake Orta is perfect for a day trip. It’s about 90 minutes from Milan, 70 minutes from Turin and 60 minutes from Lugano. It’s easy to get there by car or by train to Omegna. A day is more than enough to enjoy the lake to the full.
